‘Cow Girls’ is a fascinating original piece created and painted by Paul James and it is one of the beautiful gems of his contemporary collection, featuring three stunningly detailed cows.
The idea was a follow on to ‘Fab Four’ (available as a tapestry) with one cow less and without the grass, it led to the creation of this edgier and more modern piece.
Paul wanted to achieve a more contemporary look, so he took out the grass and just used the greyish background, removed one cow and included the shadows which made them look grounded.
