An experiment in Aubergine! Paul found this pelican on the sandy sun soaked beaches of Terrigal just North of Sydney Australia. An entire flock landed on the beach just as he was having lunch with friends. He excused himself from the table and went down to join them with his camera at the ready, knowing that they would make great material for future pictures. When it came to the actual painting he played around with the background and came up with this idea which is most intriguing, verging on surreal – so innovative and a truly fantastic piece to grace any wall.
