Dale Bowen was born in Staffordshire in 1963, where he still lives and works today. Having studied Art at college in Newcastle, Dale went on to work as a master potter; first at Coalport China and later at Wedgewood, where he stayed for fifteen years.

Dale Bowen's art career began in the prestigious ceramics industry, where he worked on high-profile commissions, including pieces for the Queen Mother's 100th birthday and HMS Victory celebrations. His work achieved international acclaim, fetching prices upwards of £100,000.

 

Returning to his first love—painting—Dale’s playful acrylic works have garnered immense popularity.
